RockFord Farm Market 2012
The Rockford Farm Market opens on the first Saturday in June and runs through the last Saturday in October from 8:00am to 1:00pm. It is located in the South Squires St. parking lot off of Main St.
The Rockford Farm Market was voted “America’s Favorite Farmers Market” in a 2011 nationwide popularity contest sponsored by the American Farmland Trust.
The other 1,700 entrants in the contest didn’t have a chance! Why? They were competing against a farm market that is a poster child for everything “Pure Michigan” and “Pure Rockford”.
Nestled in the heart of beautiful downtown Rockford, adjacent to the White Pine Trail - Michigan’s longest linear State Park, the Rockford Farm Market is a Saturday morning destination for farm market enthusiasts from near and far. Added pluses are the near-by Rogue River and its picturesque Rockford Dam along with fine dining and shopping a stones-throw away.
Offering the “just picked” bounty of the second most agriculturally diverse state in the Nation, the Rockford Farm Market provides not only seasonal produce but also a cornucopia of Michigan produced foodstuffs along with everything floral imaginable. Many vendors’ offerings are strictly organic.
The Rockford Farm Market is the most people and dog friendly farm market one would hope to attend. It guarantees not to disappoint! Come see for yourself.
